Hello and welcome to the school council web page. This is where you can find out about what’s happening at Woodland.
Here’s how it works
- In your class you can volunteer to become your class rep.
- You will need to write a speech as to why your class should vote for you to become their class reps.
- There shall be 2 class reps; a boy and a girl.
- Once you have decided on your class reps, then the class reps go even further and make powerpoint presentations, posters, banners and badges etc.
- Next your whole year will vote for you to become a year councillor. There shall be 5 year councillors out of each year - 20 in total.
- Now you’re in the school council and will be presented with a school council badge - until next year.
This Year We Are Aiming To:
- Change the School Uniform
- Produce money for various charities
- Think of lots of new and exciting ideas for the new year.
Queuing to vote!
This Year We Have Accomplished:
- Changing all of the clocks to radio controlled clocks so that the school runs on time.
- Deciding on types of uniform, but still to change the colour.
- For the new academic year, we installed the lockers to keep all of your belongings safe.
